North of Brittany - A one week tour
4 p.m.: Rennes Youth Hostel.
After a few days exploring with Ze Bus, you decide to stop off in Brittany. What a good choice! We have come up with a short tour that will enable you to see everything worth seeing in Brittany. Have a good trip!

Day 1 : Pink Granit Coast
Trébeurden
Trébeurden is a charming seaside resort. You will find a lot of beaches very well exposed for you to gild the pill and a great choice of aquatic sports. You will find also in Trébeurden little bars directly on the beach and walking to do.

Ploumanac'h and the coastguard path
Head to the moon! A real Nature miracle! You won't believe it: spectacular rocks chaos, huge pink granite bowls with strange shapes: Napoleon hat, turtle, witch…

Day 2 : Paimpol/Bréhat island
Paimpol
This little Breton port was formerly a Newfoundland departure port for cod fishing.

Bréhat Island
It's the Flowers Island, but not only. It's also the Birds Island, the Tides Island, the Rocks Island, and the Bicycles Island (because cars are forbidden! Great!). Another strange landscape with pinks rocks contrasting with the blue ocean!

Day 3 : les Sept Iles/Morlaix/Crozon Peninsula
Les Sept Iles
The Sept Iles archipelago is the biggest ornithological reserve in France. It's the shelter of 27 different birds' species: little penguins, puffins…and also a dozen of grey seals. We wish you to sea everybody!

Morlaix
"If they bite you, bite them" This is the town motto speaking about English. But make yourself easy, Morlaix inhabitants have calmed down! The medieval town is a tangle of little streets, half timbered houses, gardens on terraces.

Day 4 : Crozon peninsula
Crozon peninsula
Finally, you have arrived at "the beginning of the world" like people from here say. It's a paradisiacal place: high cliffs, turquoise water, typical ports, and white sand beaches. It's a paradise for everybody, but above all for surfers and walkers.

Day 5 : Ouessant Island
Ouessant Island
Island situated at the extreme west of France, at the crossing of the Channel Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It's a very wild island, with a lot of storms. It's also the Lighthouses Island.

Day 6 : Rennes
Rennes
Town renowned for its festivals, its culture, its night life. In Rennes, you will always find something to do, somebody to share a drink!

Day 7 : St Malo
St Malo
Pull away, young ship's boys! After so many days in the sea, don't you want to find again our ramparts and our rocky islets, our emerald sea, our granite palaces hiding so many treasures? Come to live the history of this rebel town with a glorious maritime past, with an intense port activity!

Leaving Brittany :
