Around the Gulf of Morbihan - 4 day tour
7.30pm : Quiberon youth hostel.
After a few days exploring with ZE BUS, you decide to stop off in Brittany! We have come up with a short, easy-to-follow tour (all you have to do is admire the scenery!). And it starts now! Have a good trip!

Day 1 : Quiberon
Quiberon
You won't be disappointed by the Quiberon peninsula - it's ideal for all kinds of sport. If you are hoping to make the most of the waves and sea breeze, the west coast is for you - it is the spot for surfers and land sailors. You just want to relax? The white sandy beaches on the east coast are perfect for sunbathing.

Day 2 : Belle Ile
Belle Ile
Visitors to Belle Ile come back different people. And that's if they come back at all! As this island is heaven on earth (or perhaps sea!) and a really exciting day awaits you thanks to impressive jagged cliffs, beautiful beaches and traditional fishing harbours.

Day 3 : Vannes and the Gulf of Morbihan
Vannes
Fancy a step back in time? Kit yourself out with a helmet and a coat of mail and set off to conquer the city of Vannes! Wander through the alleyways and discover all the half-timbered houses that miraculously survived the bloody attacks from the English.

The Gulf of Morbihan
Sea birds have made the gulf their haven! And how lucky they are! They have laid claim to an inland sea covering roughly 200 km2, hundreds of islands and islets, small beaches, and of course the gulf's exceptionally mild climate (Yes, it rains less here than in Nice!).

Day 4 : Auray and Port-Louis citadel
Saint Goustan district in Auray
Imagine the scene - a small stone bridge over the River Auray, which is governed by the tides, and lots of pretty timber-framed houses. It is an ideal film location for period dramas - ask the people who live there as they have some stories to tell!

Port-Louis citadel
Port-Louis takes its name from Louis XIV, France's Sun King. He gave his name to the town as he had the French East India Company based there. The citadel itself is worth a detour.

Leaving Brittany :
After this short tour of Brittany, you can continue your road trip of France with ZE BUS. Don't miss your bus! ZE BUS stops at Quiberon youth hostel every Friday and Monday at 7.30am.
