Brittany tour - A one week tour
4 p.m.: Rennes Youth Hostel.
After a few days exploring with Ze Bus, you decide to stop off in Brittany: what a good choice! We have come up with a short tour that will enable you to see everything worth seeing in Brittany. Have a good trip!

Day 1 : Saint-Malo

Day 2 : Saint-Malo/Dinan
St Malo
Pull away, young ship's boys! After so many days in the sea, don't you want to find again our ramparts and our rocky islets, our emerald sea, our granite palaces hiding so many treasures? Come and live the history of this rebel town with a glorious maritime past!

Dinan
Overhanging the Rance valley, the town won't disappoint you: an important medieval patrimony, an exceptional site and above all intact ramparts surrounding the town!

Day 3 : Lannion
Lannion
Lannion has changed a lot since several years. Formerly, a farmer's town, it's now the Telecommunication town since the National Centre of Telecommunications Studies settled in Lannion. However, it's still a typical Breton town crossed by the river Leguer.

Day 4 : Pink Granit Coast
Trébeurden
Trébeurden is a charming seaside resort: you will find a lot of beaches very well exposed for you to gild the pill and a great choice of aquatic sports. You will find also in Trébeurden little bars directly on the beach and many walks to do.

Ploumanac'h and the coastguard path
Head to the moon! A real Nature miracle! You won't believe it: spectacular rocks chaos, huge pink granite bowls with strange shapes: Napoleon hat, turtle, witch…

Perros-Guirec
We let you finish your day by a little splash in the sea in Perros-Guirec on Trestraou beach. It will refresh you! If you want, Perros-Guirec is also a "Nautical Resort": it means that you can practice many activities: kayaking, surfing, sailing…

Day 5 : Morlaix/Huelgoat
Morlaix
"If they bite you, bite them" This is the town motto speaking about English. But make yourself easy, Morlaix inhabitants have calmed down! The medieval town is a tangle of little streets, half timbered houses, gardens on terraces.

Huelgoat
A legendary forest with impressive rocks closed to the town centre. You can take up a challenge in the forest: you have to move the Trembling Rock. Only pure heart knights will manage to do it.

Day 6 : Pointe du Raz/Quimper
La Pointe du Raz
A legendary site where mermaids still lie in wait for handsome young men! Imagine the scene - two high granite cliff faces surrounding a fine sandy beach, the Ile de Sein in the distance and huge rocks jutting out from the sea.

Quimper
The capital of the Cornouaille! The Breton spirit pervades this city in its cathedral, in the names of its streets, in the characters of the city dwellers themselves and, above all, in the delicious pancakes and galettes (Finistère serves the finest pancakes!).

Day 7 : Quiberon
Quiberon
You won't be disappointed by the Quiberon peninsula. If you are hoping to make the most of the waves and sea breeze, the west coast is for you - it is the spot for surfers and land sailors. You just want to relax? The east coast is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying ice cream.

Day 8 : Belle Ile
Belle Ile
Visitors to Belle Ile come back different people. And that's if they come back at all! As this island is heaven on earth (or perhaps sea!) and a really exciting day awaits you thanks to impressive jagged cliffs, beautiful beaches and traditional fishing harbours

I leave Brittany :
